My mom has had quite a week! She was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday after a stress test and angiogram showed major blockage in her heart. She had triple bypass surgery on Thursday and spent two days in the cardio vascular intensive care unit (CVICU). She's in the hospital for at least a few more days and has a long road of recovery ahead. The surgeon told us that "she is a lucky lady" to still be here after the severity of blockage she had in her heart. We are of course beyond thankful that it was caught. But no one was more shocked at the situation than my mom! It will be a while before life resembles normalcy for her, so just to let her know she was thinking of her Corinne made a little video for Mimi. And mom reads the blog all the time so feel free to leave her a note here too. Thank you so much for all the prayer and support this past week! We've felt it for sure.

Corinne's video and visit to see me were two of the high points for me during my stay. Corinne brought me a ballonn and a cute little purple birdie/chick which she named Felicia. She is soooo smart!
