It was a fun party for E & S, complete with the PINK cakes (with blue M&M's) they insisted on! We had planned for a cookout... but unfortunately it was raining so hard that Brett had to prop up the umbrella while he so perfectly grilled the burgers and corn on the cob in the rain. It didn't put a damper on Ellen and Sophie's excitement (nor Corinne's as shown in the photo of E opening a gift from her). It was a blessing to celebrate the girls with our extended families and we are thankful for all the people who love them.

Looks like it was total success! Glad everyone has fun - well except maybe Brett in the rain :(
...geri
Indeed it was "double the fun". Ellen and Sophie were really cute and even shared their scooters after taking the first turn around the house.
Actually, any time spent with Ellen and Sophie and Corinne is a wonderful blessing for Mimi. Special celebrations are just "bonus" times.
All the birthday fun and activity for E & S were such a thrill because they are such sweet girls and a complete joy. I'm so lucky that I got to take part in it all. And they sure are grown up these days ...
P.S.: I'm so glad Mommy delivered on a "PINK" cake and a very pink party. All week, that's all we heard from Ellen and Sophie: "Pink cake" and I like pink." Good job, Bets.
