Look at Me!
Corinne likes to "hop" lately. She can't quite get herself off the ground, but she certainly gets her whole body into it. The other day she was playing on the pillows (again) and wanted me to watch her walk all over them, up and down and back and forth, and then the grand finale was her own attempt at hopping. She says a very strong "HOP!" as she does this. Very cute.

What a coincidence! Today my friend Rebekah & I were talking about how much time we spent as kids just playing, making stuff up, with no structure and not a lot of supervision. (Different than a lot of kids today?) Rebekah & her brother used to pretend the pillows were rocks in a riverbed and hop from rock to rock. Rebekah's story made me think of your earlier post of Corinne & pillows. And now here is another pillow post!
This game looks like lots of fun, especially with the emphatic "hop" at the end! How cute is that?! I wonder if Corinne will let me play the pillow game with her the next time I visit ... or will she have moved on to a new game?
