more birthday pictures! Have I mentioned that Corinne does not like to be the center of attention?! But life with Little C. is never dull--just today she was having the funniest conversation with her toys and dolls. She speaks in full sentences and grasps so many new things all of the time. I feel like her little brain has not slowed down since she uttered her first words! It has been a steady increase in vocabulary, word associations, and life applications for her. Today she was captivated by the snow on her shoes when we got back into the car. She was trying to look at the bottoms of her shoes so she could touch it and play with it. Too bad it melted quickly! Other things she's into include the moon (every night we must look for it...if we don't see it then she concludes that "it's hiding"), Coralee (her new baby doll), her "high shoes" borrowed from Grandma Schatz--which are nothing more than Cinderella dress up shoes, her cousin, Emma--who we just spent a week with, singing all the time...whole verses of songs, and standing on the chair in the kitchen while I make lunch/dinner. Corinne's mind is a steel trap, really. She remembers places, faces and words that we've been to or mentioned just once--it's amazing to witness. And she is a joy, but she is TWO. And with that comes strong emotions, at times! Nonetheless, she brings us laughter and joy daily. We can't wait to see what she thinks of her new baby brother/sister! Praying for a smooth transition on that one!

Happy Birthday (belated) Corinne!!!!!
Hmm, so Corinne does not like being the center of attention - neither does her mommy. Nevertheless, Corrine is adorable and am sure she will make a wonderful big sister to the new little Schatz we are eagerly awaiting!
I love the sound of Corinne's voice and listening to everything she has to say ... to me, baby doll or anyone/thing else. It shows her imagination and how much she's soaking up every minute.
I also can't wait to meet the new little Schatz -- boy? girl? Looking forward to the big news!
