Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day after the rain and thunderstorms moved out. We were glad because it was the 64th annual block party on our street! Picture this: face painting, a balloon artist, bike races, kickball games, pie eating contests, a water balloon toss, and lots of neighbors hanging out eating good food. The kids enjoyed having the street blocked off and the adults enjoyed catching up with friends. Corinne, as you can see, enjoyed the Dora big wheel that her buddy, Lily, let her borrow. She also had her face painted with a heart and glitter.

Block Party

Sounds like a good time for everyone. I assume that the twins were introduced to the neighbors and had a great time as well as big sister Corinne.
The twins were a hit, and Betsy too. She looks great & in good shape 6 weeks after the arrival of the twins.
I got to meet lots of neighbors during my visit in May -- a really nice bunch of people and kids. I'm sure Corinne, Ellen and Sophoe had a fun time at the block party. (And Bets amazed everyone 3 DAYS after delivery!)
