We were primed & ready! Everyone was in good spirits and ready for the beach!! For the record, this was one of the first times (if not the only time) I have allowed any member of my family to eat fast food since my mom's heart surgery. Road trips are hard to pack every meal for...pb & j, pretzels, crackers, fruit and water only sound good for so many meals. And we split the drive into two days, so I caved and we found ourselves at Wendy's. Corinne is a champ at traveling these days. She was so easy! And Ellen & Sophie did really well in the car on the drive south...way harder on the way back, though.
