Daily Scene

With twins, two of most things are enough. Not so with drying racks, though. At least not yet. We run the dishwasher every night and unload all the clean bottles for the next day, but we still have pieces and parts all over the counter with two drying racks. Partly because we use Dr. Brown's brand of bottles, so there are some extra parts to wash. But mostly because we have two 8 week old girls who are taking bottles every 3 to 3 1/2 hours during the day! And also because we are in between two bottle sizes. Look closely and you'll notice several 4 oz bottles along with several 8 oz bottles. These days the girls take around 4 to 4 1/2 ounces...so that means we are moving up to the bigger size, though not totally consistent yet. I'm not going to complain, though. Ellen and Sophie are in bed around 10:30 and sleep until 5:45am. I'm crossing my fingers that soon they'll sleep until 7...hopefully they are working on stretching it in the coming weeks!? Until then, this is our daily scene.
